Black, Round UFO Semi Circled by Haze or Light, Shocking Speed Over Peterborough, UK

Travelling East to West.  
Approx height of air force jet flight not commercial airline height.  
Size difficult to say.
Message 
Was in garden looking up at stars in clear sky when from East I spotted 
a rapidly moving object.  

The speed shocked me.  

The shape looked a bit like it was round because of what looked like a 
semi circle of "haze" or "light" around both north and south sides of what 
looked to be a black object.

The speed was so great it travelled across the whole sky in about 20 
seconds.

It was also dead silent, no engine noise, no sonic boom, no sound at all.
