Aldershot, Hampshire, April13, 2009
Both Ken and I witnessed and filmed 2 strange red orbs over Aldershot last night April 13, 2009...first one 9.20pm, second one at 9.35pm, both lasted 2 and a half mins.
They were just glowng spheres of light, which rose upwards and steadily headed East towards Guildford. These were not planes or helicopters from what we could see, and they had no flashing lights on them.
As trained and regular skywatchers, we used high powered binoculars to view.
Please be aware that the Sony camcorder is switched from night mode back to normal a couple of times for comparison, and when on night vision the redness of the object obviously goes.
