Message: I was just leaving the house for work when i noticed two large bright stars, one white and one a reddish orange colour in the direction of Middle Wallop, for a moment I thought it could be a star and a planet until I realised that they were travelling towards me, the white orb above the orange. I watched as they drew closer, the orange orb appearing to accelerate as if purposely playing catch up with the other. It was a very clear morning (still dark) with only a slight road noise from the A303, as they passed in front of me I was expecting some sort of engine or rotor noise but to my suprise they were completely silent. I stood and watched as they continued on their path towards the direction of Wherwell, both were as bright as they had been as they travelled towards me, the orange orb appearing to accelerate again until I could no longer see them against the brighter skyline where the sun was beginning to rise.
I live in an area where helicopter manouvers are commonplace, especially the Apache, I believe they use Middle Wallop a few miles away, also Boscombe Down and the Salisbury Plains are a little further along the A303.
Having lived in Farnborough for the first 30 years of my life i am familiar with military & commercial jets. This was neither jet nor helicopter. I have never seen anything even remotely like these orbs before, I wish i could of captured the event on my phone but i was rooted to the spot in amazement.
I have stood in the back yard and watched satellites pass overhead, the orbs I witnessed were no way near that altitude, they were definitly a great deal lower.
