"Hi

Not sure whether you've had any reports of this, but tonight at around maybe 20.15 - 20.30, I walked together with my boyfriend along Western Road in Brighton when we noticed a huge number of moving lights in the sky over the sea.
The lights were scattered along a line moving from west to east and they seemed to be quite close to us and were of a street lamp's light colour, (something between orange and yellow colour).
As it was Friday night there was lots of people on the street and many of them were taking pictures of the display that lasted few minutes.
Some people said that those were debris from the satellite collision earlier this week, but I think if that was the case the lights would have tails and would be heading towards the earth.
But those moving lights kept the same latitude. They were big and seamed to be very close to us and they spread over a long line

Could anyone explain what was going on?"

Many thanks

M' from Hove
