Farnborough, Hants, July 17 & 19, 2009
I just wondered if you could help; I spotted
this light first on Friday 17th:
I was outside having a cigerette and noticed a bright ball flying through the sky from the horizon.
It was 11pm in the evening, and at first I thought was a plane, as we have lots air traffic here, but to my surprise it passed over the house at quite a speed and made no noise and continued until it was lost from view.
I dashed to the front door, but by the time I got there it had almost disappeared.
On Sunday the 19th of July at about 10pm, I locked the house up and again went out for a cigerette. I spotted the same object moving slower in the sky, so grabbed the handycam, which was in the study, (as I had just finished uploading some vids of the Elvetham Heath car show that I had been to that day)... and luckily there was just enough tape space and battery and power left to record this mystery. A few people are saying that it is the ISS, but I checked the orbit and it does not pass over our part of the sky. What is it?
