Quick report of a
UFO event over
Farnborough. I live
at the top Field Road,
one of the highest points in
Farnborough, and at
around 8pm, whilst
standing in the garden skywatching, myself, (Ken
Parsons),
and a visiting
friend, (Mr
Jonathon Barker), observed 2 moving
white lights suddenly
appear a
few thousand feet up, one behind the
other.
These unidentifieds were
flying in
quite close proximity to
one another in a North
to South
direction and there were absolutely no flashing
lights on either of them.
And if their sudden
appearance wasn't enough, and their dangerously close positioning to each other,
there was another peculiarity that caught our attention about these
objects. It was a cloudless
evening yet both objects
mysteriously
faded out at
exactly
the same point in
the sky after travelling across for some way, (as if going
through an invisible
doorway!).
Stupidly, (considering I
am the joint chairman of BEAMS), I didn't
have my video camera
with me as were
only intending to stay outside for a short while because
it was a bit on the cold side, and I
assumed that it
wouldn't be worth taking
the camcorder with us...I didn't
even have the time to nip back inside to get it
either for
fear of missing this very
interesting spectacle which was unfolding before our eyes..And believe me,
I have
been kicking myself about it ever
since!
