Guildford, Surrey,19th September, at
21.50
Weather clear and dry, lots
of stars out.
I walked out the back of the house
and saw to my 2 o clock high in the sky
two orange lights,
star sized ( like Venus size, though my wife thought them
bigger).
Both were stationary and exactly side by
side from my
perspective, like
this.....
* *
On checking an A
to Z and looking at the alignment of
our back garden the two objects would be to
the
north.
I called my wife Debbie who came outside to verify what
I was seeing.
The objects remained stationary for maybe
30 seconds to 1 minute before the left hand light started
moving from side to
side while describing a downward
flightpath. The right hand light remained
stationary at
this time. Soon the left hand light slowly faded from
view. The right hand light was still there so I
rushed upstairs to get
binos, but little could be seen
when I got them onto it. This light then
also
dropped down while moving from side to side then curved to the right and
vanished.
At this time a plane came into my view below
and to the right of the objects from my view, but the
plane was much closer in
my opinion so was not below the
lights as such. The lights remained the
same size
and did not change shape.
I do not believe satellites fly like this ( I've
seen them on skywatches in Wiltshire at Silbury Hill ) and
we soon saw a plane
directly above and at a similar height
to the objects which clearly displayed
navigation lights,
the objects were just orange lights, no flashing nav
lights.
