Message: Hi Ken,
Here I have a new sighting to report!
After helping my husband to do some 'internet repairs', I went upstairs and felt the impulse to briefly look through the window...I could clearly see some airplanes but this 'other one' looked odd, so I grabbed my high-resolution binoculars and what I saw was a different/unknown kind of craft.
It's shape was an elongated diamond; it's 2 wings were pointing up; it's colour was a medium grey -maybe metallic- which I could see because it's carcass had a complete soft/pale permanent glow.
The craft had 2  large, bright red lights underneath and close to each wing: 1 of them was flashing while the other was permanently illuminated. This craft was definitely not flying, rather, it was gliding and made no noise at all.
I observed it for no longer than a minute, 1st from my back & top window, where I saw it moving from my right to left and above - and then I ran to the other side, where I saw it moving from above and then sharply turning to my left, (that is, our front balcony window), before I lost sight of it. The glow in its carcass allowed me to appreciate it had some kind of symmetrical juntion lines, a bit brighter than the general glow.
So, here I am, happy to have grabbed my binos instead of camera this time.
I wonder if somebody else had a similar sighting!? C.A
