Leeds, England, 17th February, 2008, U.K.

Time: 21.20PM

I was stood in my driveway when I looked up to the perfectly clear sky and saw a bright orange orb. I just thought what a bright star it was! I then watched as the orb seperated into two seperate orbs to then be joined by a third orb that rose from behind the houses on the opposite side of the street.

All three orbs moved vertically up and down in the sky before settling into a straight line in a diagonal formation. At this stage I phoned my brother who lives on the same street as me to ask if he could see the bright lights. At first he just dismissed what he saw as aircraft lights and all three orbs just vanished. I continued to watch as all three objects appeared again and moved vertically back to their original positions.

I phoned my brother back who went into his garden to take another look. We then both witnessed two of the orbs move together to form one orb with a second orb off to the left. The twin orbs then seemed to drop some kind of bright orange flare shape lights towards the ground.

One of these lights then moved back up to the orb and everything vanished just as quickly as it all appeared. There was no sound at all during these events and there was no wind at all.

I tried to capture the sighting on my digital camera only to find the battery was flat! I am glad that my brother also witnessed this event from his house just to confirm I was not just imagining it or missing something obvious.

I dont know what i saw but it was definately no aircraft or balloon that i am aware of in existence now. I would just like to put this on record and would be interested to hear if anyone else in Leeds saw anything like this last night.
