Lymington 28/2/09
9.15pm
Location: high in the sky
from s/e to
west
Message: at 9.15pm Sat night, I
was stood in our back garden smoking
a cigarette and
spotted what at first I thought was a satellite, but it was
much larger looking and appeared to be orange, (a very
bright light), then it
was quickly followed by another
within a few seconds, then another 2, but this
time they
were side-by-side.
Then another pair came along, about 5
seconds apart, again side-by-side.
There must have
been over 12 of these
lights in all , and when they passed
overhead the objects slowly faded
out.
The unusual
thing was these lights were very bright orange you could
see them coming from along way off.
I viewed
them through my
binoculars and they just looked like
orange ball things, with a halo around
them.
Last
night it was a very clear night and they came from the south
east direction and were heading west, and all in a sraight
line.
PS: I would love to know if any
other similar sightings
spotted in the south last
night,and any explanations
