Message: Last night 18th May 2009, approx 22:15, I saw a very bright light travelling at very high altitude and moving at a fast speed.
It shot across from West to East, slightly south of my position, which was near Melton Mowbray.
The whole sighting was over in about one minute.
The object was too slow to be a shooting star, but too quick and high for an airliner, and there was no noise from the light either.
