Racton, West Sussex 22/04/09
Bob Schindler emailed me today 22/04/09 and said "have a look at this photo that I got out at Racton.
It was about 3pm and I was on the way to work. I stopped off at Racton for a quick skywatch, (as I pass by here every day, to and from my job), and whilst doing so I spotted this shape in sky and snapped it. What is it? It doesn't look like a bird, or a bug and it's certainly not a plane?"
BEAMS chairman says. "I have studied this photo at length and still cannot determine what the object is. I have reproduced it here with the original on the left, enlarged but otherwise unaltered, and on the right is the same photo in 'solarized' filter mode = a partially negative and partially positive photo...Can our readers decide?"
