Location: at 5000/10,000 feet about size of 5 or 10 pence piece from the ground
Message: I was in my garden for a cigarette and just happened to look up at the stars as there were many in view visibility was clear, I noticed what I assumed to be a jet at high altitude a small dot moving at steady speed (a regular sight) then 5 seconds later I noticed a much,much larger shape like a bright star at a much lower altitude than the jet but travelling in the same direction, what struck me was the size and brightness almost straining my eyes. It was pure brilliant white and the brightest and biggest light in the sky by far. It travelled quickly but gracefully almost elegant or hovering whilst maintaining speed. I watched for about 30 seconds until it went out of view and gradually got dimmer heading south south east from rhayader. It was similar to your pic on here of the white object in Sussex but at much higher altitude.
