horizon.
Message:
I
was walking from the centre of woodhouse
village in
Sheffield, and when I
reached Beaverhill Rd I spotted
objects in the clear sky.
I
continued to
watch them whilst still walking home to
Station Rd, (approx 3-4 mins walk from
centre of
Woodhouse), then stood in
my back garden and watched again.
Looking in a NNE
direction
towards Sheffield Airport
direction I saw the 3
objects moving just above the
horizon; one on it's own, two close together; the
two that
were together moved at what
appeared to be a very slow
pace, gradually
climbing
higher into the sky, heading
in a arc towards the
SW.
I lost sight of the one on
it's own after a few minutes in an Easterly
direction; the
two eventually
dissapeared into the distance, heading west. The
objects
appeared * shape, and
a bright orange colour,
quite
large in
size.
It was a mainly
clear night, with
light cloud to the west and very
cold. I watched for
approx 10
to 15 mins
and reported the incident to
South
Yorkshire Police (Communications dept),
who told me
that they had
received no other
sightings at
that point: Report No 974 26/12/08.
