Message: We were driving
along the ring road around
Thame in
Oxfordshire between midnight and 1am on 21st
February 2009 when a surreal orange light appeared
to be
heading towards us in
the sky.
It had a similar appearance
to the street lights close by
but appeared
that it could
be on
fire. There was no noise suggesting that it could be an
aeroplane or helicopter, and our first thoughts were that
it could be one of
those balloons
that you can put a
candle inside. The object moved slowly
towards
us and
appeared to 'follow'
us along the road at about the height of a house. It
carried on moving slowly and started to descend lower to
the ground then in a
flash it spun
in the opposite
direction so fast that it was out of sight
within
seconds.
