Coast to Coast tells us
that this amazing photo
was taken in Hawaii, on
the
island of Oahu in the
town of
Haleiwa.
It
was captured
in
January 1997 by
Bill
Romerhaus, a long-time professional
photographer
who has
been in the
business for over
40
years.
One evening, after watching
a movie with a
friend, and they were
leaving his
home, they
pointed
out
some strange
lights in the sky.
It was late,
about 1 am and
the cameraman decided, what
the heck,
never shot
a UFO photo,
and got
out his surfing lens (a Nikon
800mm f/5.6 and added a 2x tele-extender and
used a very
heavy duty tripod) and
took about 10-20 photos. The film was Fuji
Velvia 35mm
transparency, exposure
was about f/8-f/11 for
about 15
seconds.
