Writhlington, Radstock, N.E.Somerset, 26/7/08
I thought I would contact you after
doing some
internet research as last
night my wife and I
witnessed
something quite remarkable. What we saw has
also
taken on new meaning
after reading some of the
accounts on
here from
the same time last
year.
I
live in Writhlington, Radstock near Bath in
N.E.Somerset.
Last night
26/7/08
at 11.50pm I was checking the back door
before going to
bed when I
saw
some strange lights in
the sky through
the
window. I called my wife, to
make
sure I wasnt going mad, and we went
outside to watch what
can only
be
described as almost a mirror image of the
account from Surrey on 22nd July
2007.
A
group of 5
bright
lights moving
across the sky in a very strange
fashion
(North to South direction). No
noise engine
was heard and it was a
very
still night. They seemed to hover
then move short
distances in a
darting
manner. Another
really bright
light
then joined from the left, on
its own,
which seemed to be moving faster then
the others.
These lights gradually
disappeared one by one but while still
high in the
sky.
I am absolutely
gobsmacked at what we
saw.
Unfortunately all
I have to show
is a very poor
quality photo and a very shaky piece of
mobile
phone video
camera
footage.
Neither of which show anything
useful.
