Yateley, Berks, May 30, 2009
Whilst out on a skywatch at 10:30pm, tonight, May 30, 2009, we had a sighting of strange object over Yateley, Berks..
I was originally scanning the sky using my camcorder's night shot facility, while my partner Hilary surveyed the sky with her high-powered binoculars, when we spotted a large light suddenly appear over tree tops, low down, close to the area of Wellington Avenue, slowly going East.
I thought it MORE than fortunate that I just happened to have my camera already recording and pointing in the very spot where this object appeared, as nothing else had all the time we had been sitting there hoping for something to show.
We don't believe this was just an aircraft because apart from one point where its light faded for a couple of seconds, it remained brilliantly lit throughout it's journey, and there were no strobing lights either.
The only sound is that of an aircraft that also passed over our heads just to spoil the ambience of an otherwise fascinating sighting.
