formation of glowing red
lights.
I am writing to make a report of a sighting witnessed by myself and my wife on New Years Eve, to be exact it was 12.05am 2008.
I have had a few sightings over the years, but until now I have mostly been on my own with no other witnesses, my wife has always been a sceptic until now, yesterday 2/01/08 she arrived home from work very exited saying there was something I should see, she had spent some free time at work surfing the net looking at UFO sites, and had come across your site, she showed me a picture taken by yourself in Surrey on July 22nd of triangular lights with one at the rear, I was amazed as this is exactly what we had seen on New Years Eve.
As usual we went outside just after midnight to watch all the local fireworks, after a few minuets I noticed a formation of lights between the houses some distance away, at first i thought it was another firework, but unlike all the other rockets that explode into a shower of sparks with embers that drop sharply to earth and fizzle out these lights were constant and traveling slowly from left to right in an upward direction, the lights glowed bright red and seemed to move around each other and change places but still keeping a triangular formation.
Keeping pace and traveling in the same direction, a short distance behind the formation, was a single light that glowed bright red but was slightly duller than the lead formation.
This sighting lasted about two minuets, the formation slowly entered cloud cover followed by the single light and disappeared from view.
