Unusual Hovering Object Seen Over Springfield Roads Direction, Rugeley, Birmingham, UK

We are currently moored on Trent Aquaduct. 

I have uploaded a Google maps to show our location and reference 
to the direction I saw the object. 

We had the back hatch slightly open as is normal, I awoke early hours 
not sure on the time exactly and noticed lights in the sky behind over 
the houses. 

I put my glasses on to make sure I was seeing what I thought. 

Which was quite a few green and red lights which were either flashing 
in sequence making the object look like it was turning slowly, or it was
turning slowly. 

It was hovering, but slightly bobbing up and down. 

It looked some distance away but was still quite large and silent. 

I watched it for a couple of minutes before it just disappeared. 

I didn't see it leave... it more vanished! 

My other half awoke while I was watching but didn't get chance to see 
the object however it was no dream! It was a still calm, clear night, 
bright stars. I wondered if you have had any other reports? 

On the uploaded map I would be looking in the Springfield roads 
direction!
