Large, Circular, Grey Object Seen Hovering High Over Bethnal Green, London, UK

  Today I spotted a large grey, round object that was stationary in the sky.
  
  This thing was silent and just in the middle of the sky, hovering high above 
   the usual plane flightpaths. 
  
  The object was big, big and I observed it for about five minutes and then it 
   just vanished!
   
  This was definitely not a balloon!
