Message Hi Ken, just taken a photo of what I thought was simply an over-colourful star or the Planet Venus, but there seemed to be too much movement about it.

So, the first image I have supplied is of the object way behind in the distance over the rooftops. Second photo is shot 1 again, but where I have cropped and zoomed in on the object.

I was astounded at the result.

I went back out to show Mum 5 minutes later but the object was gone.

I don't believe that this is a camera glitch, or that these are merely enlarged pixels, because the 'unidentified' itself is actually tiered.

I realize that sometimes with these cameras you can get a sort of dotted effect, but not angular, wide shapes like this.

Incidentally, just a couple of nights ago there was a helicopter in the same area for a good half an hour, as if looking for something over the sports grounds behind us.

Phone camera used Samsung S5 SM-G900F

What does the reader think about this case? A natural celestial body? or maybe this is a digital artifact, an undesired or unintended malfunction in the camera data (pixelation problems for instance) or is it something far more unusual?
