Hi, me and my son saw one strange object in the sky. 

It was daylight and cloudy, with very light wind. 

The object was possibly 500 to 600 ft high.

We couldn't hear any noise - we weren't near enough to hear anything.

It moved at a slow steady pace from Shard Bridge area towards Hambleton.

We watched the object for 5 mins and then we drove down the road and 
could still see it.

Direction was South to North.

The object was black and had no visible lights and rotated slowly.

I think we were 1/4 of a mile away and think it was about 20 ft tall.

Looking at our diagram, the front view was how we saw it in a vertical 
position; as it rotated and the triangular bits faced us it looked thin so I 
imagine the plan view is how it would look from overhead.
