Welcome to B.E.A.M.S.

Founded in 1991, our society consists of a
team of active reporters and field investigators who
factually gather, study and disseminate evidence relating to Earth Mysteries, (e.g. Ley Lines, Terrestrial Energies and Ancient Site Anomalies), Strange Aerial Happenings, (e.g. Unidentified Flying Objects or UFOs), and The Paranormal, (e.g. Spirit and Psychic Phenomena).

Unusual Light Seen on Surrey Heath

Shot 1

Did Something Quite Exceptional Land on Surrey Heath, Surrey, UK - 23/06/2016?

At about 1:30am on 23/06/2016, I decided to look out of the upstairs window just before I got into bed, when something most curious captured my attention... a glowing object or phenomenon, that was seemingly either on, or just above, Surrey Heath.

It looked almost like the setting sun - and as you can see, it lit up the sky in a fan pattern.

Whatever it was, it remained on the spot for at least 20 minutes before fading away.

Both Hilary and I studied the object/phenomenon through high-powered binoculars - and saw that it had what appeared to be an active nucleus to it... with definite movement inside.

It certainly wasn't the moon or a streetlight - or any conventional aircraft; and we aren't aware of any festivals or laser light show attractions being there; we also discount the idea that it was a fire caused by a lightening strike, as everything was soaking wet after a torrential downpour that we had experienced just an hour earlier; not only this, but it continued to rain fairly heavily, on and off throughout the morning.

So, what on earth was this thing? Some kind of rare, meteorological phenomenon perhaps? - astronomical? - or was this an exceptionally unusual landed object?

We live in on Fernhill, (the highest natural elevation point in Farnborough), affording us a most amazing vista of the skyline - so this view of Surrey Heath, (about 5 miles distant as the crow flies), is very familiar to us... both having regularly surveyed it from our window (which we do most nights), for any unusual aerial activity over that way... (as the area can be a bit of UFO hot spot sometimes), and having made quite a few visits to during the course of our investigations; we can say with confidence that there are no brightly-lit buildings out there which could cause such a massive radiance - (something so powerful to light up the sky in this way), in fact, there isn't very much on Surrey Heath or around those parts at all.

We are at a total loss to come up with a good answer - but perhaps our readers may do better; please email beamsinvestigations@sky.com if anyone can clear up this mystery.
