Unidentified Black Object Hovers Over Ayr, Scotland For 15 Minutes!

By now, most readers have probably seen the rather shaky video of this large, black mystery aircraft hovering over Ayr Harbour, after it recently appeared on various news media sites. [if not, we advise you to study the recording first before back-arrowing to this page].

As might be expected, many people have tried to write this UFO off as being merely a Chinook helicopter or a drone - the two most logical explanations; snag is... both ideas could be wrong; so why are we daring to go against the grain of popular opinion? here's why: Today, (24/07/2016), a friend of the 13 year old boy who recorded this footage contacted BEAMS by email and included a little-seen photo that the witness captured of this silent, aerial oddity.

In part, the accompanying message sent to us reads... the boy "then went in to his mothers flat and took a photograph of the object, which a local news blog are trying to say is a helicopter! I will send you the image and you will clearly see for yourself it is no helicopter.

I will attach the original photo for you both to see." The friend also points out that the reason why the video is so unsteady is because the boy was filming the event as he was walking along: end quotes

Now I ask all of you looking in, is this like any helicopter you have seen before? - Maybe here at BEAMS we need to go to Specsavers, but this doesn't seem exactly like a Chinook to us; and then there is the 'drone 'proposal; what sort of weird 'drone' could this be?

What on earth is this thing? Possibly it is some kind of giant inflatable that we haven't come across before - or even a kite maybe? Can anyone identify this object at all? If so, we would be glad to hear from you - and if a satisfactory answer comes along then, (as always, whenever a case is solved), we will remove this post from our UFO Reports listings immediately.

The Daily Express wrote:  Jamie Cooper of Ayr, Scotland, was sent a video by his 13-year old son, James, which shows a mysterious entity lurking in the sky.

From around 5.30pm, Sunday July 17, 2016 a black craft hovered in the distance for around 15 minutes, over what is believed to be Ayr Harbour.

In the 30 second clip, the object appears to be stationary, with nerves prompting Mr Cooper to send the clip to his dad, who shared similar concerns.

James

Mr Cooper said: “James was walking home when he took the footage on Sunday, and sent it to me through WhatsApp.

'I have never seen anything like this before, I think it's a UFO and James does too.

'I have no idea what I think about aliens, there's nothing to prove that there is or isn't aliens but I think this has changed my view a bit.

'James thinks it was hanging there for around 15 minutes but could have been longer as he wasn't looking in that direction on his way to the shops, only on the way back.

'I'd like to know what it was, it's definitely not something you'd expect to see.'

Jamie has ruled out the idea that the UFO was a drone and is completely baffled by the sighting.

He added: 'It can't be a drone because of the shape of it, if you zoom into the picture you can see it's not a helicopter.

'My mum and grandparents have seen it and have no idea either.

'I also let a friend see it as he works at the port, I thought maybe it was something to do with the port. He said he has no idea either.
