I captured footage of strange lights in the sky on Friday night 17/09/2010 while standing at the top of the hill at Alexander Palace in North London overlooking the city of London some 6 miles or so away where these strange lights could be seen cranking up some serious wattage!
The strange lights were dazzling and shone so brightly in the night sky.
At times the lights can be seen maneuvering very close to each other; I felt there was some form of interaction going on between them. In one clip you see two lights flying towards each other from opposite directions seemingly on a collision course.
The skies that night was very clear and I could see other normal aircraft flying but at a higher altitude than the lights in the videos. You could make out the navigation / landing lights and the familiar sequence in which they flash, but they were nothing like the lights videoed giving off this extremely intense bright white light while at times hovering in one place for minutes or at other times appearing to float very close over the rooftops of some of the city of London's tallest landmark buildings.
