Time: 9-10 pm Location: Horndean, Hampshire Message: I was standing in my back garden in Horndean admiring the evening sky at around 9.30-10.00. Visibility was clear. There was a fair amount of aerial traffic about (easily identified and not uncommon down here near the coast). As I was looking approximately south,I saw an object that resembled the tail exhaust of a rocket. (I could not see anything in front of the light). It seemed to be larger than most of the surrounding plane tail lights and did not blink. It continued upwards until it was just beyond 90 degrees from the horizon and then seemed to go out. As that object faded, another object with just the same appearance began in exactly the place the previous one had appeared. The second followed the trajectory of the first and rose to extinguish in the same place. I was beginning to think someone was firing rockets except these did not explode and there was no sound. The occurrance continued 12 or 13 times, each perfectly matched to the previous. They were so obvious I was sure other people must have seen them but I have seen no other questions regarding them. If you have received reports or know what it was I would be grateful if you could advise.
