Founded in 1991, our society consists of a
team of active reporters and field investigators who
factually gather, study and disseminate evidence relating to Earth Mysteries, (e.g. Ley Lines, Terrestrial Energies and Ancient Site Anomalies), Strange Aerial Happenings, (e.g. Unidentified Flying Objects or UFOs), and The Paranormal, (e.g. Spirit and Psychic Phenomena).

Helicopters, Bedford & UFOs

Part 4 - Continued

By Gordon James Dungavel

Now, after many flat rentals, I am with my wife Tracy whom I met at a Job Club in Bedford '94.
Why I chose a woman with no interests in what I was into I have no idea. In fact even after meeting my remaining family her sympathy only increased. She, (unfortunately now in deteriorating health), still has the same near-zero enthusiasm about my ufo interest as in the beginning; she'd say as I was hanging out of a window, "Oh that's amazing, but you said you'd do the dinner and washing up tonight", with me misidentifying Venus/Mars or whatever satellite/plane as I was attempting to capture said with my SLR, which was too complicated for me to operate in my excited state anyway.

But then late one night, in a flat in Bromham Road, Bedford, the noise of planes attracted me from my kitchen chores onto our large outside high raised patio. I watched some small stars dance unusually around the sky; in autopilot mode I charged back into the flat to get my camera. I returned to the balcony and began clicking away, but a light rain was now falling and I knew this would spoil any of the flash photography. Tracy & I watched as the sky became suddenly full of helicopters and jets chasing these darting objects.

"This spectacle overwhelmed me, as a large semi-transparent, light-edged object shot between our rooftop view in front of the adjacent flats, chased by a military helicopter. "

In the dark sky above, I could see illuminated chemtrails from fighter jets that were tearing through the skies as they chased the white orbs. I was semi-clothed and dripping wet from the drizzle and Tracy had rushed back inside to get me a coat. I was still pointing the camera in front of me as I knew ahead something had descended facing me above a neighbor’s roof top.  I was petrified, my only thought was that if it's a UFO, I'm going to get zapped… or if it’s a helicopter it's going to open up fire. I took a picture; the flash gun illuminated for that split second what I thought to be an Adamski-shaped, classic UFO.

I dashed back into the kitchen and my first thought was to phone Ken Parsons there and then; hell knows what time in the evening it was, and I might not have made alot of sense, but I remember overly excitedly shouting at him something down the phone. I was shaking so much I couldn't believe it. Next day I went to an Indian neighbor who owned a late night shop and asked him if he had heard the commotion in the sky last night. He had, and was very interested in the fact that I had photographed the event as he himself had previous UFO experiences.

Of course the 36 35mm photo's that came back were rubbish, the rain & conditions had obscured everything; but one picture, which I'm sure I've lost, showed an apparent circle of dotted light above the opposite flats, but it was of such poor quality it lends nothing to the spectacle of that amazing night.

"My next experience, (if I've got these strange observations in chronological order), are the ones photographed & featured on this web site."

Now living at Westbourne Rd. Bedford, something caught my eye from behind the curtains. I again spent a few minutes getting my camera close to hand. A shape was in the sky that I did not recognize so I began taking a few shots. It was getting closer so I shot downstairs and out into the garden. This object was changing shape from a triangle to god knows what. I thought it maybe it was a kite as it displayed now and again, some kind of markings on its side, but its color and shape kept changing and as it turned I could see that this object was solid with depth and not thin like material being blown in the wind would be.

It was totally silent, and again I was just amazed by this ariel display. It flew far off into the distance. I took many pics, the best of which are featured here thanks to Ken.

I did not fake anything I have put forward as anything but what was in front of the camera at the time. I would be more than happy to have a mundane logical explanation so that I would know what to look out for in the future. Anyway by now I had badgered my poor handbag/shoe-buying wife to purchase us a video camera, as I had always wanted one. But with regard to decent moving UFO footage this I hoped would be a Godsend.

Again the years rolled by, my grasp of photography was not improving much. However, one day Tracy & I were walking down Goldington Road, Bedford to Bury Walk where we lived now. We had just been into town to get new batteries/etc. I was simply taking mundane video footage of Tracy trying to hide from the camera as I'd chase her around, then as usual, staring skyward, I saw I think one, or two objects at first flying above us.

So dodging traffic at a roundabout I began filming a white object which suddenly shot-off, and a darker one closer to me. I rule out balloons as they were flying in a way that was most unusual. Then as two or three flew passed in the opposite direction to the ones that were flying away from me I knew something was up. I think there were about a dozen objects flying in all directions during that 10 minute sighting.

The video on this web site I think only shows one at a time, but I am sure in the original VHS Tape there are more in the distance criss-crossing each other. I was intrigued when a helicopter approached one of them; they were obviously interested in what was going on. It's the only ever video footage I've ever been able to capture and trust me it's not for the want of trying.

Tracy of course saw nothing, her eyesight was never the best but thank god I had something on tape. I sent the tape off to Ken who I think by now had moved from Bedford to Farnbourgh with his new partner Hilary. I had two more sightings in the following years. One of which made me realize that these things were nuts and bolts real; any miss-interpretation was now out of the window.

I did not need a zoom camera (though blasted pity) nor binoculars. There she was hanging in the sky above Heron house, Goldington Green, Bedford as I walked across the park toward the shops to get refreshments in for that afternoon's continuing World cup football coverage. The park was quite busy, kids probably fed up with their teams continually disappointing performances. A man walked passed me with a black Labrador dog and I said nothing, just stared at what was above those flats.
I've seen them since on the internet, but back then I didn't know what to make of it.

"This thing was close, close enough to... well, I get emotional sometimes when I think about this opportunity lost. That's why now I'm rarely seen without a camera."

I called this UFO my 'black wheelie bin'. That's what it looked like. About 10-20ft in length, and it just sat there, it's top rotating. It began to move then stop, as it did, a small 'arm projection' extended from the right hand side of it, then retracted. On it flew then halted, again this procedure continued until it flew out of view above Goldington's rooftops. I just stood there shaking by head and laughing to myself. God what is going on up there that we're being told does not exist?

The second was going to a local video shop in Goldington, it was very sunny and I had sunglasses on. I can spot something in the sky now like a cat can spot a mouse. But again, I had never seen anything like this before, moving across the sky. It was a thumb size straight vertical column glow of energy with a darker middle centre which flew toward and into a bright white cloud.

I waited for it to re-emerge, which it did. I took off my polarized fishing sunglasses it disappeared, I put them back on and there it was again heading to the next bank of cloud. It continued until it was out of sight. This was not a solid object, and to this day have only likened it to a cloaking device it was using. I simply have no idea what the heck I watched pass that afternoon, but it threw my 'nuts and bolts' theory out of the window.

Hang on, nearly forgot, there was also a third sighting around this time as Tracy & I headed towards Tesco's during our time in Goldington. Two bright white orbs of light half a mile apart, yet appeared connected flew across the dark sky; it was a quick yet amazing sighting. I've never seen two satellites move in conjunction like that before, if indeed that is what it was.
