| Message | Daylight sighting of huge metallic disc: On a country lane north of Wantage, Oxon,
OX12, UK. On driving home around 6pm one evening in May 2016 when I saw a car
stopped ahead in a field entrance and the driver out of the car and holding an iPad
up. Whilst driving I looked in the direction of the iPad, and in a clearing in the clouds
around 2Km away, was a very large metallic disc.
It was aluminum coloured, classic UFO style. It had a raised edge with alternate
black and silver panels. It was tilted over at approx 15 degrees and absolutely
stationary. Later I realised it was probably directly over a large solar farm.
Part of it's LH edge was obscured by cloud so it usefully provided an idea of scale
and distance. I estimated the diameter to be easily 500 metres (half a kilometre).
Due to a speed merchant on my bumper I didn't slam on my brakes but instead
drove on until I could stop past a long line of trees. The cloud cover had now closed
up totally (100% in all directions) and I had no further sighting of the craft.
It was solid, no illusion, lights or airship, etc. It was a very windy, rainy evening, but
good visibility, 6:30 PM and daylight on a summer evening. No airship could be up
in that weather. This sighting had no lights or markings but for the raised edge.
I'm forever asking myself why I didn't return the half mile to talk to the other witness,
but I expected his pictures to be headline news the next day.
The photos or film of this extraordinary sighting is out there somewhere.
Why hasn't this other witness come forward?
For 15 months I have scanned the internet and newspapers for news, but nothing!
I have reported this sighting to two other UFO sites, but not more widely (Facebook,
Youtube, etc) due to my not being familiar with social media.
Yes, I had a camera with me (I know!) and will forever regret the missed opportunity
of taking/obtaining the photo of a lifetime.
