13-08-17: Red UFO Turning Green Over

22.00 hrs: I was looking for Perseid shower last night and only saw 4 but saw something much more interesting.
Can anyone offer explanation please?
Large red ball thought it was low plane light but bit too big and bright.
It stopped abruptly, turned bright green like green of plane light but much bigger and brighter, hovered, flashed like taking a photo, then plummeted down out of sight for about 30 seconds then reappeared hovering as a white light, started to move slowly then exploded in a starburst of green, then carried on as white light and disappeared out of sight.
Was this a night flying drone?
