Last night I spotted what at first I thought was a police
helicopter. My daughter was at football training when I
spotted the large full moon, the night sky was very clear
apart from some minor clouds. My attention was then drawn
to a very bright white light in the sky situated over towards
the Wrekin.

I could see this light slightly above the red light
that is on the TV transmitter. I watched it move around for a
while and just thought it was a helicopter search light.

After about half at hour (7pm now) the white light was joined
by an orangy/red light! This was the same size & intensity as
the white light but a different colour. Now I knew this wasn't
a helicopter!

At this point the white light started to drift left until it
was out of view behind the Wrekin. The orange light remained
stationary above the Wrekin hill. I did not have my phone on
me to take pictures but if I had these lights would have come
out easily even with the very bright moon light.

There were no noises but this would be expected as I was some
10 miles away. I did try to spot the object as we drove home
but could not see the Wrekin, nor can I see the Wrekin from home.

The objects were visible for at least half an hour; I'd love
to know if anyone else spotted them and whether they were just
drones (although the lights were on par with a police search
helicopter so they've have to be serious drones!!)
