Message: Ive seen two sightings over the past few days.
 
On Friday the 3rd of September 2010, me and my partner were on our way to Houghton from Chester Le Street and coming through Fencehouses, when we saw a red ball in the sky.
 
At first I thought it was Mars but it looked odd and before our eyes, it changed to orange.
 
It gave the appearance of being very far away, but then all of a sudden we drove under it and that was that; until on Saturday the 11th of September when we saw a very similar object from our home, (which was possibly over the Copt Hill area), at about 22:30 - 23:00.
 
The object was orange in colour and moved across to the north; It changed directions a couple of times and faded to nothing. Then another appeared elsewhere about 20 mins later, and this thing moved north quite slowly before fading away.
