10-12-2010:
Colour Changing UFO/Craft Seen Over Godalming/Milford Area, Surrey, UK

Travelling down Eashing Lane at 9.10pm, we got just past the school there, when one of the passengers in our car said that he saw a bright, red light, hanging stationary in the sky, out over the Godalming/Milford area... or possibly over Bushbridge Tuesley.

The object was seen again, and as we drove further down the lane we found a spot where the tall hedges had some gaps in, which afforded us a better view, and then we stopped to look at this object.

It was definitely some kind of structured craft, because after a while the light moved, turned from red to green, and then white and other colours, thus revealing something of it's configuration which may have been triangular.

Then suddenly, the craft glided at really high speed, covered about a mile or more in seconds, stopped dead, changed colours and rapidly glided backwards; we have never seen a plane move so fast or perform such peculiar movements... so doubt it was anything ordinary.

It kept doing this, hyper-gliding as we described it, moving back and forward quickly, stopping instantly, and kept changing colours... we began to get very excited at how fast it shot across the sky; it was unbelievable, so smooth.

We wondered what on earth the object could be, as these antics went on for 10 minutes, and may have been going on long before we initially spotted it.

We only had a stills camera with us, but despite taking quite a few snaps from an open window in the car, this was unable to pick the object up; they just turned out black, except one which had a heavy, swirling fog on it, even though visibility was clear and no mist or fog was about... and no one in the car smokes.

Weather was light sky cloud, but clear visibility over land.
