Welcome to B.E.A.M.S.

Founded in 1991, our society consists of a
team of active reporters and field investigators who
factually gather, study and disseminate evidence relating to Earth Mysteries, (e.g. Ley Lines, Terrestrial Energies and Ancient Site Anomalies), Strange Aerial Happenings, (e.g. Unidentified Flying Objects or UFOs), and The Paranormal, (e.g. Spirit and Psychic Phenomena).

Confirmation of a physical object

The mystery sphere was captured on farmland, (off the A272 road - 51°02'22.09"N 1°13'41.45"W), near to Winchester, Hampshire, UK on May 21, 2015: 5pm:

Nothing unusual was visible at the time whilst taking random shots of the countryside.

The unidentified isn't a conventional balloon either, (wrong shape), and as the photo was taken at some considerable distance - the object is also very large.

Of the many shots taken that day, no others had anything unusual on them.

Camera used was a Fujifilm Finepix JX 16mp

As a balance, I have looked at other options for this sighting, such as the possibility that this could be sunlight bouncing off a car or motorbike which may have travelled down a small path in the distance; but upon magnification I can see that the object is a perfect sphere rather than a mere glint, and seemingly reflecting light rather than being a reflection itself. By looking at the unidentified using false colour filtering it is quite apparent that here we are seeing a physical object with mass, possibly internally illuminated and of considerable size.

A colleague went through his database to see if there were any other instances in this area in a historical context. He found two reports, one dated 1971 and the other 1988 which claim that crop circles have been seen in nearby fields in that vicinity, although we have been unable to clarify the sources.
